Shiana and Josh’s wedding at the iconic Bendooley Estate was truly something special. Nestled in the Southern Highlands, Bendooley is one of those venues that seems to have its own kind of magic — rolling hills, stunning gardens, historic charm, and that warm, golden country light that photographers dream about.
From the moment I arrived, there was an electric energy in the air. Shiana and Josh were calm and joyful, completely wrapped up in the excitement of the day. But what really stood out was the atmosphere created by their family and friends. Every single person was genuinely thrilled to be there, and it showed — in the tears during the ceremony, the cheers during the speeches, and the nonstop smiles all day long.
After a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by nature, guests moved into the book barn for the reception — and that’s when the party truly started. The speeches were full of hilarious stories and touching moments, and the dance floor? Absolute chaos in the best possible way. From the first dance to the final song, it was packed. People were singing, jumping, dancing with grandparents, lifting each other in the air — the kind of night that makes you wish it never had to end.
As a photographer, these are the days you hold onto. The combination of a breathtaking venue, two people so clearly in love, and a community of people who know how to celebrate — it’s everything. I feel so lucky to have been a part of it, and I honestly can’t wait to be back at Bendooley again soon.
